Tuscany Pilates & Walking Retreat
6-13 June 2020
Your Pilates retreat is held at Casa Berti, a private hill-top estate with expansive views over the Tuscan hills, just north of Lucca in Tuscany. This stunning location consists of villa Casa Berti and farmhouse Casa Rosina, a Pilates studio, gardens, olive groves, vineyards and woodland. There is a large pool with sun lounge space, various seating areas in the gardens and an al fresco dining area. The Lucchese style bedrooms are beautifully appointed with original features and all have privacy and en-suite bathrooms. The Estate is set in sixteen acres of olive terraces, gardens and woodland, cultivated by Etruscans, Romans and now locals. It offers extensive walks and hikes, badminton, boules, archery and croquet. A natural spring produces mineral-rich water all year round. This is the perfect place to relax, practise Pilates, boost your wellbeing and explore the surroundings on beautiful walks and hikes.

“I have just returned from the Pilates retreat in Tuscany and I really, really loved it. Booking myself on a trip with a group I didn’t know was a first for me, so I was a bit nervous about how it would work out. I met 8 most lovely, interesting and curious women with whom I enjoyed great food, wine, the amazing beauty of the Tuscan countryside, heart-warming hospitality at Casa Berti and, of course, the sensitive and knowledgeable Pilates classes with Ariadne. After a week I felt relaxed, renewed and inspired, had made new friends, learnt how to make some fantastic Italian dishes and had a well-toned core. Pilates classes were very gentle, never pushing too far, but Ariadne made us work persistently on all the right areas. I’ll definitely come back. Thanks Ariadne!” Ava
The double bedrooms with private en-suites are all luxuriously appointed, with air-conditioning and beautiful views over the surrounding hills.
